Schools and Organizations from across New Jersey are partnering with the Repurpose New Jersey to host RNJ Textile Bins, clothing and coat drives, to help the wealth challenged wealth families. By participating in this program, schools and organizations can garner tremendous positive publicity while teaching their students about Recycling and Repurposing textiles for their neighbors and helping those who need it most.
The Repurpose New Jersey Program is a project of the non-profit Edison Wetlands Association and we can help your business large and small conduct a clothing drive and even assist with the pick ups of the much needed clothing for the wealth challenged. Coats, hats, gloves and socks are picked up and donated to local food pantry and homeless shelters by our volunteers and staff.
Your school or organization can also host a bin location the bins are small and well maintained. Check out our current locations at libraries, schools, community center and even the USEPA support the work of Repurpose New Jersey.
Schools and Organizations that establish a town wide textile recycling program with Repurpose New New Jersey also qualify for credits for environmental education programs at the Triple C Ranch and Nature Center.
RNJ asks nothing from you except the use of a small, underutilized area on your property to place our small textile recycling bins. Your school or organization could receive a subsidized environmental education program for your participation and establish your town as a New Jersey sustainability pioneer.
